Job summary

KLN Logistics Malaysia is seeking a logistics coordinator to serve as the primary contact for clients, handling inquiries, providing shipment updates, and addressing complaints.

You will monitor vessel schedules, coordinate with shipping lines and agents, prepare import/export documentation, resolve delays, and collaborate with warehouse, customs, and finance teams to ensure smooth cargo clearance.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities to coordinate shipments.
• Prepare, verify, and process import / export documentation including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
• Investigate and resolve shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders such as warehouse, customs, and finance teams to ensure efficient cargo clearance and delivery.
• Support sales and account managers by providing timely customer and shipment updates.
• Generate reports on shipment performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with trade regulations and company policies.

Problem Resolution

Investigate and resolve shipment delays, damages, or discrepancies.

Coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and customers to minimize disruption.

Internal Collaboration

Work closely with internal stakeholders such as warehouse, customs, and finance teams to ensure efficient cargo clearance and delivery.

Support sales and account managers by providing timely customer and shipment updates.

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure adherence to international shipping regulations and company standards.

Generate reports on shipment performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
