Job summary

KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd seeks an experienced C&I Maintenance leader to drive reliability and performance across plant operations. You will oversee maintenance programs, comply with HSE and regulatory standards, and optimize cost and resource use.

You will coordinate maintenance planning, guide technicians, manage spares and contractors, and develop a high‑engagement team focused on KPI achievement and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Instrument/Control/Communication System Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years in plant operations and maintenance in power generation, petrochemical, chemical, process or oil & gas.
• Experience with Control & Instrument systems (DCS, SCADA, PLC, RTU, Networking, Computing Server/Client, ELV).
• Familiar with asset management and large facility operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead, organize and control C&I maintenance program to meet regulations and best practices.
• Propose and monitor annual maintenance budget for C&I with cost control.
• Guide technicians and ensure maintenance works per plan.
• Manage C&I spares, support equipment and maintenance components.
• Identify areas for enhancement and execute via internal resources or outsourcing.
• Develop leadership and coaching to achieve KPIs and objectives.

Job description

Manage and strategies Control & Instrument (C&I) Maintenance performance, maximizing yield, preservation, and enhancement of overall asset performance through the optimization of cost and resources as well as in compliance to HSE, quality and statutory requirement, and adhere to standard maintenance procedure and key performance standards to ensure customers’ comfort and satisfaction.

Main Accountabilities

Develop, leading, organizing and controlling all Control and Instrument maintenance program compliance to best engineering practice and regulatory requirements ensuring plant equipment reliability, operate in high performance and achieve plant goal.

Proposed and monitor annual maintenance budget utilization for effective cost management for C&I section. Manage all maintenance planning and activities executed within budget, timeline and specifications in accordance with the established procedures and work instructions.

Guide and monitor technicians in maintenance activities ensuring works are performed as per plan.

Manage and monitor C&I spares and support equipment, and maintenance component.

Identify specific areas where enhancement is suitable feasible. Execute the program either by internal resources or outsourced partners.

Develop leadership, engagement, motivation, supervision and coaching to technicians towards a highly engaged culture where organizational objectives and KPIs are met. Assign and delegates responsibility and authority to subordinates to support their objectives in an efficient and effective manner.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Degree in Electrical/Instrument/Control/Communication System Engineering field

Experience:

Minimum 7 years’ experience in various positions related to plant operations and maintenance, planning and management in power generation, petrochemical, chemical, process or oil and gas industry.

Experience with Control & Instrument system ie. DCS, SCADA, PLC, RTU, Networking, Computing System, Server Client, Wireless Infrastructure, ELV office system.
