Instamedia is a Malaysia Digital (MD) status company delivering interactive event experiences. We are hiring a Business Development Executive who already knows the events and agency world to win new business and build a strong pipeline.

You will turn client briefs into ready-to-deploy experiences or custom builds, lead meetings and pitches, and own each deal from initial contact through closing, with ongoing commercial oversight after confirmation.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in sales, business development or client servicing at an event, experiential, activation, MICE or creative agency, or selling into them.
• A proven record of generating your own leads and closing new business.
• An existing network among agency producers, account managers or brand marketing teams in Malaysia.
• Experience selling project-based or customised solutions, not just catalogue products.
• Confident discussing budgets, pricing and scope.

Responsibilities

• Win new business with event agencies, creative and PR agencies, and brand marketing teams.
• Build your own pipeline through your network, referrals, LinkedIn, industry events and direct outreach.
• Turn client briefs into solutions, either ready-to-deploy experiences or custom builds scoped with our creative and tech team.
• Run client meetings and pitches, and prepare proposals and quotations.
• Own each deal from first conversation through negotiation and closing.
• Stay the commercial owner after confirmation, spotting scope changes and upsell opportunities.
• Re-engage past clients, dormant leads and lost pitches.
