Job summary

RED NOSE SDN. BHD. is seeking a Training Specialist to educate promoters, brand ambassadors and event crew across activations in Malaysia. You will design curricula, prepare materials, and evaluate learning outcomes to raise performance and compliance.

Responsibilities include coaching, field visits, and maintaining high grooming and hygiene standards, with frequent travel to activation sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Training, Business or related field.
• Preferably 2–3 years of experience in training, retail, FMCG, events, brand activation, hospitality or customer-facing roles.
• Good command of spoken and written English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
• Well-groomed with high personal hygiene standards.
• Organised, disciplined and process-driven.
• Able to manage groups of promoters with different personalities and experience levels.
• Comfortable giving constructive feedback and correcting poor performance.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and basic training material preparation.
• Willing to travel to activation/event locations when required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product training for promoters, brand ambassadors and event crew.
• Train promoters on proper grooming, personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Ensure strict hygiene practices are followed, particularly for food and beverage sampling activities.
• Conduct training confidently in good spoken and written English.
• Demonstrate proper consumer engagement techniques, including greeting, product introduction, selling and closing.
• Develop and follow structured training processes, checklists and SOPs.
• Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to ensure knowledge retention.
• Occasional field visits to assess promoter performance.
• Provide constructive feedback and coaching to improve performance.
