Job summary

Cycle & Carriage Malaysia Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking an automotive service technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and safety procedures.

You will inspect mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults, carry out HV battery work per SOP, and ensure all tasks are completed within the required time while meeting quality standards. Training and safety practices are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Automotive/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-4 years of working experience in automotive repair; EV experience is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Physically fit and able to follow safety standards.
• Willing to attend training and continuously improve technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of vehicles per manufacturer standards.
• Inspect, identify, and rectify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Carry out HV battery removal, replacement, and testing per SOP.
• Ensure all service and repair works are completed within the stipulated time and meet quality standards.
• Record all repairs, findings, and parts used in the job card system.
• Assist in vehicle final quality checks before delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
