Job summary

Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad is seeking an EV Car Sales Advisor for its TQ WULING PUCHONG showroom. The role focuses on guiding customers through EV and conventional car purchases, delivering test drives, and showcasing EV technology. You will promote EV features, handle leads, and aim to meet sales targets.

The position offers a basic salary plus commission under a contract arrangement, with training and development opportunities in a dynamic automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Open to SPM leavers.
• Have sales experience in motor trade industry.
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target driven and passionate in sales & services industry.
• Candidates with own car is an added advantage
• Willing to work long hours
• Able to work at the location as advertised

Responsibilities

• Engage with walk-in and online customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
• Promote and sell both electric and conventional cars, with a focus on EV features, benefits, and ownership experience.
• Explain technical aspects of electric vehicles, including battery range, charging options, maintenance, and cost savings.
• Conduct test drives and product demonstrations.
• Stay updated on the latest EV trends, incentives, and competitor offerings.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Comply with the company’s guidelines and procedures.
• Provide a consistently high level and memorable customer service.
• Achieve individual sales target and contribute to the branch sales target.
• Maintain showroom standards and ensure vehicles are well-presented.
• Experience selling electric or hybrid vehicles.
• Knowledge of EV charging infrastructure.
