Job summary

Tan Chong Motor Holdings Berhad in Shah Alam is seeking an EV Car Sales Advisor to guide customers through the car-buying journey, promote EV features, conduct test drives and deliver an exceptional showroom experience.

The role focuses on selling electric and conventional vehicles, explaining battery range and charging options, achieving sales targets, and building lasting customer relationships, with basic salary plus commission in a contract role.

Qualifications

• Open to SPM leavers.
• Have sales experience in motor trade industry.
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target driven and passionate in sales & services industry.
• Candidates with own car is an added advantage.
• Willing to work long hours.
• Able to work at the location as advertised.

Responsibilities

• Engage with walk-in and online customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicles
• Promote and sell both electric and conventional cars, with a focus on EV features, benefits, and ownership experience
• Explain technical aspects of electric vehicles, including battery range, charging options, maintenance, and cost savings
• Conduct test drives and product demonstrations
• Stay updated on the latest EV trends, incentives, and competitor offerings
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
• Comply with the company’s guidelines and procedures
• Provide a consistently high level and memorable customer service
• Achieve individual sales target and contribute to the branch sales target
• Maintain showroom standards and ensure vehicles are well-presented
• Experience selling electric or hybrid vehicles
• Knowledge of EV charging infrastructure.
