Job summary

TH Plantations Berhad is seeking an Estate Assistant Manager in Malaysia to support the estate manager in achieving optimum FFB production and quality targets. The role involves planning, supervising subordinates, and ensuring compliance with ESH regulations and statutory rules.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Forestry or Plantation Management, with at least 2 years in oil palm plantation management and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Forestry, Plantation Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in oil palm plantation management.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager to ensure FFB production and quality targets are achieved.
• Support the manager to keep expenditures within the approved limit.
• Plan, organize, implement and control the overall work programme.
• Organize, supervise, train, discipline and appraise subordinates to achieve productivity and quality.
• Ensure estate operations comply with environmental, safety & health regulations and statutory requirements.
• Assist the manager in strengthening estate security to prevent losses.
