Role Description

This is a full-time ERP Consultant role based in Cyberjaya, Malaysia, with travel to client sites as required. The ERP Consultant will work closely with clients to understand business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into effective ERP solutions.

Key responsibilities include configuring and implementing ERP modules, conducting system testing, supporting data migration, and assisting end-users during implementation and go-live. The role also involves analyzing existing workflows, identifying process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, sales, and operations.

The ERP Consultant will provide ongoing ERP application support, troubleshoot functional and system-related issues, investigate root causes, and coordinate with technical teams to resolve incidents. Responsibilities also include application maintenance, system enhancements, change requests, user access and configuration support, and ensuring system stability and optimal performance.

The role requires preparing functional documentation, conducting user training, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing support tickets, and providing timely resolution of client issues. The ERP Consultant will also assist with project coordination, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure successful ERP delivery and long-term client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of business process design, mapping, analysis, and optimization.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills for requirements gathering, issue investigation, root-cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
• Hands-on experience in ERP implementation, including system configuration, testing, data migration, user training, and go-live support.
• Experience providing ERP application support, troubleshooting functional issues, managing support tickets, and resolving incidents within agreed service levels.
• Knowledge of application maintenance, system enhancements, change requests, and post-implementation support.
• Solid knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with core business functions, including finance, procurement, sales, inventory, and operations.
• Foundational or advanced understanding of finance processes and how they are supported by ERP solutions.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and recommend practical solutions, including standard ERP functionality, configuration, workarounds, and customization where necessary.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, process flows, test scripts, user guides, and other project documentation.
• Experience conducting system testing, supporting UAT, delivering user training, and assisting with change management.
• Experience in project coordination or participation in ERP implementation and application support projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as required for workshops, implementation activities, training, go-live support, and issue resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver implementation and support activities in a structured, detail-oriented manner.
