Deloitte Regional Capability in Malaysia seeks an Accounting Associate to support DRSC T&L: Business Process Solutions (Accounting). You will handle monthly accruals, prepayments, and routine journaling for multiple clients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 1–2 years of related experience, ERP exposure (Xero, Navision, SAP is a plus), GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced team.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar professional qualification.
1–2 years or more experience in a similar accounting-related role.
Experience with ERP systems (Xero, MS Navision, SAP) is a plus.
Knowledge of GAAP and cost control principles.
Proficient in MS Office with extensive Excel knowledge.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Mansioni

Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and other manual journal entries and reconciling accounts monthly.
Prepare, input, and maintain journals for several clients according to the timeline.
Assist team in the full spectrum of company accounts (GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation).
Handle accounts payable tasks: renaming invoices, summarizing invoices for payments, maintaining AP.
Prepare financial statements and management accounts (monthly and quarterly) and related reports.
Input inventory transactions in the inventory system.
Perform other accounting tasks as needed.
