Job summary

Teraju Bumiputera Corporation in Malaysia seeks a Project Associate, Corporate Finance (Equity & Capital Markets) on a Contract for Service basis to support origination, evaluation and execution of capital market transactions.

The role involves financial modelling, valuation analyses and preparing transaction documents, while coordinating with internal teams and external advisors to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum 4–6 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory or capital markets.
Exposure to equity and/or debt capital market transactions preferred.
Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
Good understanding of equity and capital market instruments and transaction processes.
Strong coordination, documentation and project management skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.
Professional communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage origination, evaluation and execution of equity and capital market transactions.
Develop and maintain financial models, valuations and scenario analyses.
Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors for transaction documentation.
Prepare information memoranda, prospectuses, investor presentations and papers.
Ensure regulatory compliance and proper governance for transactions.
Provide updates and flag risks to the Associate Director.
