Job summary

Sandisk in Penang is seeking an Equipment Engineer to troubleshoot FFT Die attach machines, drive productivity improvements and maintain key KPIs such as MTBA and OEE. Strong problem-solving skills and experience with APC/RPA are preferred, along with English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.

The role requires hands-on support for machines, cross-functional collaboration, and reliable attendance to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot FFT Die attach machines.
• Troubleshoot with problem solving tools.

• Support on down machines and assist technicians.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Good discipline and behavior, willing to learn and grow.
• Expert in troubleshooting FFT Die attach machines
• Expert in problem solving tools.
• Understand on APC and RPA.
• Responsible for Equipment Engineering KPI which is MTBA, OEE, machine downtime, Quality and Preventive maintenance.
• Ability to support on hardown machines and assist technician to troubleshoot the machine.
• Ability to support on machines improvement in term of productivity and quality.
• This role requires reliable presence to support operational and team objectives. Employees are expected to maintain regular attendance aligned with the company’s work schedule. Qualification:

Required

• Bachelor / Master in Electrical & Electronic / Mechatronic / Mechanical or equivalent field.
• Good communication skill.
• Able to read, write and converse in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Preferred

• Familiarity in computer system & computer network.
• Familiarity in MS Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook.
• Able to work independently.
• Have a good interpersonal skill.
• Multitasking.
• Die attach basic knowledge.
