Job summary

Sandisk in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance/Engineering professional to sustain and improve production line performance. The role focuses on ensuring high availability, efficiency, and yield through proactive maintenance and rapid troubleshooting.

You will work a 12-hour AWS shift, with overtime as required, and collaborate with engineering teams to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions across equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electro-mechanical or any related engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
• Must be flexible to work on a 12 hour AWS Shift and overtime, as required by the team.

Responsibilities

• Improve and sustain engineering portion and meet KPI (Availability, OEE, Maintain UPH and Yield).
• Perform line troubleshooting and supporting daily production operation.
• Analyze engineering failure root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Identify root cause and provide corrective action through use of effective problem-solving tools.
• Perform regular inspections to identify abnormality of system.
• Perform Preventive and Corrective Maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and checklist.
• Propose improvements to enhance engineering performance and reliability.
• Support overall setup, relocation and retirement of system.
• Assist Engineer in continuous improvement projects.
• Demonstrate a high degree of initiative, motivation and willingness to work proactively either independently or within the team.
