UEM Edgenta Berhad is seeking a senior environmental leader to steward the Group’s environmental strategy, ensure compliance, and drive Net Zero initiatives across business units, projects and operations.

You will lead GHG accounting, ISO 14001 EMS, sustainability reporting, stakeholder engagement, and capability building, delivering practical risk frameworks and integration of environmental requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum a bachelor's degree in environmental-related field.
• Experience in environmental compliance, risk management and EMS (ISO 14001).
• Experience engaging senior management and driving environmental improvements.

Responsabilités

• Lead the Group's environmental agenda by developing and implementing strategies across business units, projects and operations.
• Drive environmental compliance by ensuring operations meet regulatory and internal requirements.
• Manage environmental risks by creating risk assessment frameworks and mitigation strategies.
• Improve environmental performance in waste, water, emissions and resource efficiency.
• Champion EMS (ISO 14001) and oversee continuous improvement of environmental practices.
• Lead incident management and drive corrective actions and lessons learned.
• Embed environmental practices across the project lifecycle with contractors and suppliers.
