Job summary

Prisma Laboratory in Kota Kemuning, Selangor is seeking an Environmental Technician to perform environmental and safety monitoring sampling and analysis in line with approved methods. The role requires documenting field readings, maintaining calibration records, and generating timely reports for the EHS department.

Ideal candidates have a diploma/certificate in a relevant field, 1–2 years experience, strong report writing skills, and willingness to travel to various sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, OSH, Chemistry, or related field.
• 1–2 years' experience in EHS, environmental monitoring, field sampling, lab work, or equipment maintenance.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of environmental monitoring, sampling procedures, testing methods, and EHS requirements.
• Able to operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot environmental monitoring equipment.
• Good report writing, documentation, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Willing to work at various site/field locations and travel when required.
• Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental & safety monitoring sampling and analysis as per approved method.
• Generate report for EHS Department as per EHS Policy and ensure report is completed within schedule.
• Document field observations or readings and/or download data from equipment.
• Keep records on inventory, maintenance and calibration of on site testing equipment. Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance environmental equipment.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions. Ensure site and field safety procedures are followed during all work.
• Other roles assigned by a superior.
