Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Environmental Engineer to support the Environmental Management System (EMS) implementation and maintenance, monitor environmental compliance, and help drive sustainability across our manufacturing operations.

The role includes inspections, actions tracking, audits support, training, wastewater and waste management oversight, liaison with authorities and contractors, and technical support for improvement projects. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 1–3 years of experience in environmental management within a manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Familiar with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and environmental compliance practices.
• DOE Competent Person certification (CePSWaM / CePIETSO) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for environmental improvement projects and process enhancements.
