Job summary

JLL in Penang is seeking an Env. Executive (Environmental) to lead end-to-end e-waste operations within facilities and client sites, ensuring safe handling, storage, recycling and compliant disposal.

You will drive regulatory compliance, data management, audits and continuous improvement, collaborating with suppliers, engineering and operations to maintain a safe, audit-ready workplace. The role requires 3–5 years' experience and a Diploma/Bachelor's in environmental discipline; JLL offers

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s in environmental field with 3–5 years in e-waste or EHS.
• Knowledge of Malaysian environmental regulations and waste management.
• Experience with contractors, recyclers, and documentation.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end e-waste management across facilities and clients.
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws and JLL procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory and disposal certificates.
• Coordinate with recyclers and document licenses.
• Prepare KPI and compliance reports monthly.
• Conduct training on e-waste segregation.
• Support audits and close findings.

Lead and oversee the end-to-end management of e-waste generated from facility and client operations, ensuring safe handling, segregation, storage, traceability, recycling and final disposal in accordance with JLL standards, client requirements and applicable Malaysian environmental regulations. Drive compliance, sustainability, waste reduction and continuous improvement while maintaining a safe and audit ready workplace. Engage with client logistic team for document readiness including ISM (integrated Ship Memo), incoming documents and relevant waste picture for custom declaration.
