Citi in Malaysia is seeking an entry level Securities & Derivatives Analyst 1 to support order processing from trading desks and branch offices, coordinated with the Operations - Transaction Services team in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist in clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives, perform trade verifications and confirmations, complete settlement tasks, and contribute to regulatory reporting while upholding controls and risk management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
Baseline understanding of treasury products and regulatory policies.
Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities in a high-risk environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with macros.
Responsibilities
Verify trade details to ensure accurate booking requests.
Generate and match trade confirmations per ISDA templates.
Complete settlement tasks and daily rate revaluations.
Coordinate processing issues with relevant departments.
Maintain regulatory controls, reconciliations and record retention.
