Job summary

KCJ ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking entry-level engineers to support planning, coordination, and monitoring of engineering, maintenance, and project activities. You will assist in inspections, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems, review drawings and specs, and prepare reports and maintenance documentation.

The role requires reading drawings, strong analytical skills, and teamwork. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; willingness to travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field; fresh graduates welcome.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and project execution.
• Able to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in planning, coordinating, and monitoring engineering, maintenance, and project activities.
• Support site inspections, preventive maintenance, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of engineering systems.
• Assist in reviewing engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
• Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and project meetings.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, company SOP, and safety requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project and operational performance.
• Perform ad-hoc engineering tasks assigned by supervisors.
