Job summary

Scicom (MSC) Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks a junior IT operations professional with a keen interest in DevOps/AIOps and monitoring. You will help deploy and maintain monitoring solutions for systems, apps, and infrastructure, ensuring SAP integration and performance.

Responsibilities include configuring alerts, optimizing metrics, and drafting SOPs and deployment guides. Fluency in Chinese and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Windows) and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Shell, Bash).
• Strong analytical and teamwork abilities, with quick learning in DevOps/AIOps.
• Fluent in Chinese & English for daily communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing, configuring, and deploying monitoring solutions for systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Manage daily operations of monitoring tools (Splunk, Prometheus) including alert rules and metrics optimization.
• Collaborate to integrate monitoring, collect logs, and track performance for SAP and enterprise suites.
• Draft and maintain SOPs, deployment manuals, and IT operations documentation.
