Confidential Jobs in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia seeks an IT Operations Engineer to own day-to-day operations for a cloud-only Entra ID environment. You will administer Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Azure, while operating Defender XDR and supporting data protection and incident response activities.

Planning updates under least privilege is core to the role. You will collaborate with security and external vendors to keep the environment secure, compliant, and performant.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience administering Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
• Experience operating Microsoft Defender XDR (Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, Cloud Apps).
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for administration and reporting.
• Cloud-only Entra ID estate with device policy delivered via Intune.
• Exposure to security incident handling and data-protection concepts.

Responsibilities

• Change and patch management: devise and execute OS and application update plans with least privilege.
• Administer Entra ID: users, groups, dynamic membership, role assignments, Azure RBAC, CA/MFA policies.
• Operate Intune: device lifecycle, compliance policies, configuration profiles, app deployment.
• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive governance and configuration.
• Operate Defender XDR: triage alerts, investigate incidents, apply containment, and support incident response.
• Produce SOPs, runbooks, and maintain audit evidence for compliance initiatives.
