Job summary

SC Johnson in Malaysia seeks an Associate, Entomology to apply biology and pest-control expertise in a laboratory or field setting, conducting product performance studies and reporting results.

Under supervision, you will assist in designing experiments, ensure strict protocol adherence, support training and education for customers, and contribute to ongoing facility operations and knowledge growth, with occasional weekend or holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological or entomological sciences.
• Fluent in English.
• Experience in laboratory setting.
• Rigorous precision in following standard protocols and adherence with a tightly defined schedule.
• Ability and willingness to work partial shifts on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Executing assigned experiments and contributes to written reports summarizing findings.
• Assist in designing statistically robust experiments and analyzing study data in support of project deliverables.
• Responsible for efficacy lab safety compliance.
• Assisting the entomology lead in maintaining and enhancing facility operations.
• Provide support for internal and external customer entomology education, including demos.
• Support rearing operations, as and when needed, including public holiday or weekend.
• Maintain and grow knowledge and skills in the field of entomology.
