Prosperity River Sdn. Bhd. invites penultimate or final-year undergraduates and fresh graduates to join a 3–6 month paid internship in Kuala Lumpur.

The program offers tracks in Software & ERP Engineering, Cybersecurity & Cloud Infrastructure, Commercial Strategy, Growth Marketing & AI, and Founder's Associate roles, with hybrid/on-site work and monthly allowances. Selected candidates will tackle real-world projects, gain exposure to senior leadership, and contribute to ERP, cloud, and business

Qualifications

Foundational proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and Git.
Understanding of relational databases, RESTful APIs, and MVC architecture.
Penultimate or final-year undergraduate/postgraduate student, or fresh graduate available for a full-time 3- to 6-month placement.
Fluency in English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Configure, test, and customize backend workflows on enterprise ERP platforms (e.g., Odoo, PostgreSQL).
Build and maintain workflow automations, webhooks, and API integrations using Python, JavaScript, and automation platforms (n8n, Make).
Assist in writing clean, documented scripts, conducting unit testing, and resolving system bugs.
Complete the tasks and objectives

Position: Graduate / Undergraduate Internship Intake (Multiple Functional Tracks)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid / On-site)

Duration: 3 to 6 Months (Full-Time)

Allowance: RM 700 – RM 1,200 / month (Commensurate with functional track and technical depth)

Target Intakes: Ongoing quarterly cohorts / Academic internship placements

Program Overview

This program places ambitious interns directly into production environments across enterprise digital transformation, cloud infrastructure, commercial strategy, and AI-driven growth operations. Rather than observing from the sidelines, interns own discrete sprint deliverables, solve real-world technical and business bottlenecks, and work alongside senior leadership.

Available Functional Tracks

Software & ERP Engineering Track
- Core Responsibilities:
  - Configure, test, and customize backend workflows on enterprise ERP platforms (e.g., Odoo, PostgreSQL).
  - Build and maintain workflow automations, webhooks, and API integrations using Python, JavaScript, and automation platforms (n8n, Make).
  - Assist in writing clean, documented scripts, conducting unit testing, and resolving system bugs.
- Track Requirements:
  - Foundational proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and Git.
  - Understanding of relational databases, RESTful APIs, and MVC architecture.
Cybersecurity & Cloud Infrastructure Track
- Target Disciplines: Cybersecurity, Network Computing, Cloud Engineering, Computer Systems.
- Core Responsibilities:
  - Support deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of containerized environments using Docker and Portainer.
  - Assist in managing reverse proxies, SSL certificates, DNS records, and web security via Nginx and Cloudflare.
  - Conduct routine security hygiene audits, monitor system access logs, and verify automated database backup/disaster recovery protocols.
- Track Requirements:
  - Familiarity with Linux CLI environments (Ubuntu/Debian) and containerization fundamentals.
  - Understanding of core networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, firewalls) and fundamental security standards.
Commercial Strategy & B2B Growth Track
- Target Disciplines: Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Management.
- Core Responsibilities:
  - Conduct structured market and competitive intelligence research across enterprise tech verticals in ASEAN.
  - Assist in structuring, writing, and formatting B2B client proposals, tender packs, and commercial pitch decks.
  - Maintain CRM data integrity, qualify enterprise leads, and track project milestones against client SLAs.
- Track Requirements:
  - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in corporate English.
  - High proficiency in data presentation (Google Slides, Sheets, Notion) and structured analytical problem-solving.
Growth Marketing & AI Media Production Track
- Target Disciplines: Mass Communication, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Marketing.
- Core Responsibilities:
  - Generate and edit high-impact B2B visual assets, product demo reels, and campaign collaterals using design suites and generative AI media platforms.
  - Draft concise, authoritative copy for B2B case studies, LinkedIn posts, and product release updates.
  - Track distribution metrics, optimize landing page conversion funnels, and assist in digital campaign execution.
- Track Requirements:
  - Working knowledge of modern design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite) and generative AI media workflows.
  - Strong aesthetic judgment, typography sense, and punchy B2B copywriting capability.
Founder’s Associate & Executive Operations Track
- Target Disciplines: Open to all high-aptitude disciplines (Business, Law, Tech, Humanities).
- Core Responsibilities:
  - Act as direct operational support to the Founder across executive scheduling, meeting governance, and cross-functional follow-ups.
  - Attend client briefings, extract actionable next steps, synthesize structured meeting minutes, and track internal accountability.
  - Coordinate with external corporate partners (company secretaries, auditors, tech vendors) to ensure operational compliance.
- Track Requirements:
  - Superior executive presence, rapid context-switching, and impeccable attention to detail.
  - Absolute discretion regarding proprietary corporate strategy and confidential executive affairs.

Universal Candidate Qualifications

Academic Standing: Penultimate or final-year undergraduate/postgraduate student, or fresh graduate available for a full-time 3- to 6-month placement.
Communication Mastery: Professional fluency in written and spoken English (business grade); fluency in Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
Digital Literacy: Proficiency across cloud productivity suites (Google Workspace), task management tools (Notion, Asana, or ClickUp), and modern workplace communication platforms.
Execution Bias: High autonomy index; ability to execute structured tasks with minimal supervision and deliver results under hard deadlines.
