Job summary

Prosperity River Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Software & Apps Developer Executive to design, build, and maintain web and mobile applications. You will work with React, Flutter, Laravel and APIs, while supporting our digital transformation projects from Kuala Lumpur.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in IT/CS and 2+ years of software development. Expect a 6-month contract with potential extension and a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a passionate Software & Apps Developer Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining web and mobile applications, integrating APIs, and supporting our digital transformation projects. This is a 6-month contract position with potential extension.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web & mobile applications (React, Flutter, Laravel, etc.)
• Work with APIs and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Manage and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Apply version control and Agile methods (Git, Scrum)
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions

Must Have

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development (preferred)
• Proficiency in programming (Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, Swift, Kotlin)
• Strong problem-solving & teamwork skills
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning

Nice to have

• Familiarity with APIs & cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles for web/mobile apps
• Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration
