Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a SAP Solutions Specialist to lead process integration, configuration and implementation of global business applications.

You will be the functional expert for SAP Finance and related modules, translating business requirements into validated specifications and guiding development teams.

Work with ABAP, EC, NW and analytics colleagues to drive improvements, document processes, and ensure efficient operations across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or MIS or equivalent work experience (4+ years).
• Experience with SAP in Finance modules and related processes.

Responsibilities

• Be the functional expert for overall business processes and SAP system functionality.
• Capture and translate business requirements into functional specifications and design solutions.
• Perform configuration of multiple SAP modules and advanced customization in at least one module.
• Write functional spec documents with understanding of tables, fields and relationships; mentor others.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver effective SAP configurations and improvements.
• Drive process improvements through trend analysis and metrics management.

Responsible for process integration, functional solution designs, configuration and implementation of global applications and business applications.

• Be the functional expert for the overall business processes as well as system functionality
• Full understanding of business process requirements with ability to identify process or system gaps and appropriate resolutions
• Have strong configuration and functional knowledge in order to design solutions to fulfil business requirements with related functional and development teams
• Perform full configuration of more than one functional module. Perform advanced, customized configuration in at least one functional module
• Ability to write valid functional specification documents including understanding of table structures, fields and entity relationships. Ability to mentor other team or project members
• Maintain thorough knowledge and in-depth field experience in multiple applications or modules, comprising emerging or job technologies required. This could include formal or self -paced professional development
• Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department (ABAP, EC, NW, Analytical)
• Effectively drive business system process and integration improvements with business process owners
• Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the project / department personnel
• Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management
• Offer new ideas and suggestions for process improvement. Identify and implement best practice
• Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant
• Understand and embrace business and IT strategic direction
• Demonstrate a commitment to customer service
• Provide functional advice and assistance to technical / development team

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Management Information Systems OR min 4 years of equivalent external work experience in the business area, from an IT and business perspective.
• Related working experience in SAP related project , particularly in the processes and configuration of SAP in any areas of Finance.
