Job summary

Permodalan Nasional Berhad seeks an experienced technology and cybersecurity leader to advance enterprise security and risk architecture within the 2LOD framework. You will drive standards, assurance and governance across major initiatives, cloud adoption and digital transformation.

Reporting to the CISO, you will translate business goals into architecture strategy, embed security-by-design, and mentor teams while engaging senior stakeholders on technology risk and strategic investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, CS or CE required.
• At least 10 years of experience in security architecture and technology risk.
• Experience with independent reviews or risk challenges on major tech initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security, cloud security and governance.
• Ability to translate complex security issues into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous enhancement of enterprise security and risk architecture standards, principles and guardrails.
• Provide independent security architecture assurance for major technology initiatives, cloud adoption, digital transformation and strategic technology investments.
• Embed security-by-design principles and appropriate controls throughout the technology lifecycle.
• Assess security and technology risks related to emerging technologies, including AI, automation, cloud-native platforms and digital ecosystems.
• Translate business and enterprise objectives into security architecture strategies balancing innovation, resilience, governance and risk management.
• Evaluate cyber resilience architecture, recovery strategies and critical technology dependencies.
• Provide credible 2LOD challenge over technology designs, security controls and risk treatment plans.
• Oversee architecture risk findings, exceptions and remediation activities, including systemic and legacy technology risks.
• Translate complex architecture and technology risks into clear management insights, risk indicators, dashboards and governance papers.
• Advise senior management on technology risk, security architecture and strategic technology investments.
• Drive improvements in architecture governance through standardisation, automation and process optimisation.
