Job summary

HAVI is seeking an Enterprise Network Security Architect for its TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur. You will lead the design of network security across a global distribution network, integrating cloud-native and legacy edges while maintaining a resilient Zero Trust posture.

Reporting to the CISO, you’ll own architectural blueprints, guardrails, and vendor governance, while day-to-day firewall ops are managed by partners.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of network security engineering and architecture in global enterprises.
• Experience designing guardrails for outsourced security partners.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP routing security and NGFW capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural blueprints for enterprise networks across global offices.
• Define technical guardrails, vendor governance, and Zero Trust implementation.
• Coordinate with IT security, infrastructure teams and third parties.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Enterprise Network Security Architect to join our TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur!

As HAVI expands its global distribution network, integrating cloud-native infrastructures with legacy network edges and outsourced network security operations, maintaining a resilient, Zero Trust network posture is critical.Reporting directly to the CISO, you will serve as the strategic technical authority for enterprise network defense. While day-to-day firewall administration and network monitoring are managed by outsourced partners, you will own the architectural blueprints, technical guardrails, vendor governance, and Zero Trust implementation across global offices, warehouses, and multi-cloud environments.

THE SKILLS

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• Experience: 4-6 years of experience in network security engineering and architecture within complex, global enterprise environments.
• Architectural Frameworks: Technical mastery of SASE, ZTNA, SD-WAN, micro-segmentation, cloud virtual networks (AWS VPCs / Azure VNets), and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute / Direct Connect).
• Vendor & Managed Service Oversight: Proven experience designing architecture guardrails for outsourced partners and managing third-party managed security services.
• Protocol & Security Mastery: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP routing security, IPsec, TLS, DNSSEC, NGFW capabilities (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point), and WAF solutions.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment: Strong leadership skills to drive network security strategy across IT infrastructure teams, third-party vendors, and business units.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
