Job summary

myQuickHR Sdn Bhd is building MQHR’s HCMS software suite and seeks a skilled Java developer to design and implement applications that support business objectives. You will maintain existing software, ensure quality through reviews, testing and documentation, and collaborate with Analysts and Implementors to clarify requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Required skills: Java, Python, J2EE, MSQL & SQL, Hibernate, Web 3.0 / 4.0 Technologies.
• Preferred skills: Tomcat, LDAP Server, Linux/Unix environment.
• Familiar with IP networking concepts and capable of using diagnostic tools such as tcpdump, Ethereal, or Wireshark.
• A passion for learning emerging technologies and applying them in real-world solutions.
• 2+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MQHR’s HCMS software suite.
• Design and implement Java applications to support business objectives.
• Support and maintain existing software products according to service level agreements.
• Ensure development meets requirements and complies with quality standards including code reviews, testing and documentation.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Implementors to clarify requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues effectively.
• Develop enterprise-grade applications following established standards and methodologies.
• Assist team leads in preparing unit and system test cases.
• Work closely with the Support team for post-implementation support.
• Write efficient, scalable and reusable Java code.
• Participate in design, architecture and code reviews.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software modules.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and frameworks.
