Job summary

IBM Malaysia is seeking a Cross Communications Professional to lead external and internal communications for Malaysia, shaping a cohesive narrative for stakeholders, executives and employees. You will steward IBM's brand and drive initiatives across Government & Regulatory Affairs, CSR and marketing teams.

You will develop strategic campaigns, manage media relationships, and craft messaging that aligns with national priorities, elevating IBM’s presence in ASEAN markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in communications.
• Experience engaging traditional and social media to build brand.
• Strong storytelling and writing skills; able to craft compelling content.

Responsibilities

• Lead communications for Malaysia, external and stakeholder engagement, and employee/executive communications.
• Act as IBM brand steward to establish a clear narrative on differentiators.
• Develop and execute comprehensive communications strategies aligned to national agenda.
• Collaborate with Government & Regulatory Affairs, CSR, Sales, Marketing and partners to identify news opportunities.
