IBM Malaysia Cross Communications Professional

Seeking a Cross Communications Professional — a proactive and creative storyteller who can bring our brand to life across multiple platforms. This role will lead communications for Malaysia, spanning external and stakeholder engagement, alongside employee and executive communications, ensuring a cohesive and impactful narrative across all audiences.

You will act as a steward for IBM's brand and reputationas an“Enterprise AI Leader” establishing a clear narrative on IBM’s differentiators

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Develop & execute comprehensive communications strategy to support business objectives and priorities such as signature moments aligned to the national agenda, driving strong impact.
• Create compelling campaigns underpinned by themes such as Digital Sovereignty, Smarter Business, aimed at influencing media, driving positive impact with clients, business partners, industry bodies, governments, influencers, and alumni.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Government & Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sales, Marketing and the Business Partner organization to achieve business objectives while identifying news opportunities, client stories and other newsworthy angles.
• Act as expert representing IBM with the media to position IBM’s solutions and capabilities to elicit interest and enhance brand perception.
• Inform and activate IBMers around IBM’s strategy and inspire them to become advocates for the IBM brand.
• Set and track progress against communications measures of success for the country aligned to key KPIs.
