Job summary

Halliburton in Malaysia seeks an experienced Reservoir Engineer or Geoscientist to join its Unified Ensemble Modeling (UEM) Consulting Team. You will work directly with clients to implement ensemble-based workflows that integrate geological, petrophysical, seismic, dynamic and production data into decision-ready solutions.

The role emphasizes uncertainty-aware planning, field development, and collaboration with product teams to advance reservoir management technologies.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of industry experience in reservoir engineering, geology or geophysics.
• Experience with integrated reservoir studies and uncertainty quantification.
• Strong communication and consulting skills for client-facing work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support customer engagements focused on ensemble-based reservoir modeling and uncertainty quantification.
• Design and interpret integrated reservoir modeling studies.
• Collaborate with asset teams to build uncertainty-aware workflows.
• Deliver technical workshops and training to engineers, geologists and geomodelers.
• Support product development by providing customer feedback and testing new capabilities.
