Job summary

RemoteLeads seeks a remote interpreter to accurately convey messages between callers and English-speaking operators. You will work from a quiet home office and handle calls across healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel, hospitality and emergency services.

The role requires fluency in English and Malay, availability for 40 hours weekly with rotating night shifts, and a 3-week daytime training before transitioning to night shifts. 12-month contract with renewal potential.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing and speaking in English.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking in the native language (Malay).
• Ability to work remotely from home in a quiet and secure environment.
• Own an Android 12+/iOS 15+ device or updated laptop.

• Complete a 3-week daytime training program before moving into regular night-shift work.

• Handle calls involving both simple and complex subject matter across healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel, hospitality, 911 emergency services, law enforcement, and general business.
• Work from a quiet and secure home office environment.
• Follow scheduled rotating night shifts and adapt to shift changes every three months.
• Complete a 3-week daytime training program before moving into regular night-shift work.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English, including strong reading, speaking, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in the native language, including fluent reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Ability to work remotely from home in a quiet and secure environment.
• Own a mobile phone running Android 12 or above, iOS 15 or above, or a laptop with an updated operating system.
• Willingness to work rotating night shifts for 9 hours according to the client schedule.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week with two rotating days off.
• Open to a 12-month contract with renewal potential.
• Able to work from one of the supported locations: Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, or Cambodia.

Benefits:

• RM30 per hour, with a minimum monthly pay of RM4,800 based on 160 hours.
