Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an editor to edit English assessments for education levels from preschool to secondary. You will liaise with authors on manuscripts, proofs, and MOE updates, and prepare formatting and writing briefs for books offered.

You will collaborate with the production team on typesetting, illustrations, and cover design, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g. English Linguistics, TESL/Education) or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of editorial experience in Education or publishing industry.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to edit in English and Malay.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Able to multi-task to manage various projects.
