Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled translator/editor to translate books and content from English to Malay with accuracy and natural flow. The role involves editing Malay content for grammar, clarity, tone and flow, ensuring cultural appropriateness and readability.

The successful candidate will fact-check content and maintain consistent terminology, working with writers and editors to meet publishing deadlines.

Qualifications

• ITBM-certified translator preferred.
• At least 2 years of translation/editing experience, preferably in publishing.
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong editing, writing and proofreading skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
