Job summary

SEGi University in Malaysia is seeking a lecturer to deliver student-centred lessons in English and related subjects in alignment with approved syllabi.

You will develop, review and update course notes, coordinate department programmes, and conduct timely formative and summative assessments while providing pastoral care and academic counselling to students. The role includes research and participation in promotional events.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills with strong command in spoken and written English.
• Able to provide students with professional learning environment that supports academic, personal and professional success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver student-centred lessons in accordance to approved syllabi and scheme of work for subjects assigned.
• Develop, review and update notes, schemes of work and syllabi from time to time to reflect current practice.

• Support Head of American Degree Program in academic and administration matters.
• Carry out or engage in research/publication activities.
• Assist in the promotional/marketing events and fairs of the college when necessary.
