Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd is seeking an Engineering Technician to maintain the wastewater and scrubber treatment systems at our Sepang facility. You will monitor process parameters, perform preventive maintenance, and support plant engineers to sustain optimal operation.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering; CePIETSo certification advantageous.
• Preferably 1 year of manufacturing or similar industry experience.
• Knowledge of pump/motor maintenance, electrical and sensor wiring, mechanical/electrical repair.
• Basic fabrication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor scrubber plant operation and verify parameters stay within standard ranges.
• Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment through preventive and breakdown tasks.
• Repair, troubleshoot, and modify plant machinery as required.
• Perform annual maintenance and complete tasks on schedule.
• Lead projects assigned by plant engineers and implement improvements.
• Track and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and KPIs.
• Maintain 5S standards and organize tools, equipment, and records per ISO.
• Coordinate with departments and plants for cross-functional alignment.
• Perform on-call duties and respond swiftly to issues.
• Promote teamwork, safety, and compliance with company policies.
