Job summary

Hilton is seeking an Engineering Technician to oversee maintenance, monitoring and energy management across hotel infrastructure. You will contribute to reliable power, water, gas, heating and cooling operations while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You will participate in shift-based monitoring, assist the Engineering department, and mentor junior technicians, ensuring service quality and operational excellence in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Familiar with operation principles of large data centre infrastructure and fault judgment methods.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, professionalism, and learning ability.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory compliance: adhere to staff rules and safety requirements.
• Operational management: ensure normal operation of power, water, gas, heating and cooling equipment.
• Record keeping: inspect and handover shift records and equipment operation records.
• Equipment maintenance: inspect and maintain equipment and facilities under your jurisdiction.
• Energy management: implement energy-saving measures and optimize consumption.
• Event support: ensure equipment for banquets and meetings functions properly.
• Emergency preparedness: test generators for power failures.
• Fire safety supervision: inspect and address fire safety concerns.
• Training & development: supervise and train technicians and apprentices.
• Tool management: register usage of tools and enforce discipline.
