Job summary

PMW INTERNATIONAL BERHAD is seeking a junior engineer to support daily technical activities in lighting simulation, site testing, and documentation. You will work closely with the Lighting Simulation & Product Development Engineer to gain hands-on experience in lighting projects and product development.

The role involves preparing DIALux simulations, visiting sites for verification, updating CAD drawings, and producing technical reports and documentation for tenders and submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, E&E, Mechanical or related fields.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lighting principles, photometry, lux levels and lighting design.
• Familiarity with DIALux / DIALux evo is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software for drawings.
• Ability to read technical drawings, datasheets and project requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and attention to detail skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel to customer/project sites for site verification and support.

Job description
