Jora Malaysia is offering a role to support daily technical activities in lighting simulation, site lux testing, and engineering documentation. You will work closely with the Lighting Simulation & Product Development Engineer to gain hands-on experience in lighting projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields is required; fresh graduates are encouraged, with 1–3 years' relevant experience being advantageous.

The role will support daily technical activities, particularly in lighting simulation, site lux testing, technical support and engineering documentation. Will work closely with the Lighting Simulation & Product Development Engineer and gain hands‑on experience in lighting projects and product development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing DIALux / DIALux evo simulations for tenders, proposals and projects.
Attend customer/project sites for technical support, site verification and basic troubleshooting when required.
Assist with CAD drawing updates and technical drawings.
Prepare technical reports, calculation sheets and project documentation.
Assist in preparing technical documents for tenders and customer submissions.
Assist with product testing, sample preparation and coordination with internal/external laboratories.
Maintain simulation files, test reports and engineering documentation.
Assist in collecting technical and product performance data.
Support other Engineering activities related to lighting projects and product development.
Qualification, Requirements & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related technical fields.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience in lighting, electrical engineering, product development or technical support will have an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of lighting principles, photometry, lux levels, lighting calculations and lighting design.
Familiarity with DIALux / DIALux evo is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or other CAD software for preparing and updating technical drawings.
Able to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, datasheets and project requirements.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Willing to travel to customer/project sites for site verification, lux testing and technical support when required.
