Qualifications

• At least 2 years as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of warehouse and storekeeping practices.
• Familiarity with hardware goods and engineering spare parts.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, recording, and storing engineering spares, equipment, tools, lubricants, chemicals, packaging materials, and pallets.
• Ensure stock items are stored in the correct locations as per the documented work instructions and maintained in good condition.
• Update stock cards for all receipts and issues accurately.
• Prepare precise stock reports and conduct regular physical stock counts.
• Initiate purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables when stock levels reach minimum or reorder points.
• Participate in yearly stock-taking activities as instructed by management.
• Assist in unloading and verifying incoming materials against delivery notes or packing lists.
• Issue materials to authorized personnel and maintain accurate records of issued items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the engineering, packaging, ingredient, and chemical stores.
• Submit completed documentation for supervisor review and verification.
• Comply with company guidelines on record retention and disposal.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards, company policies, and relevant quality requirements.
