Job summary

VAT Group in Malaysia is seeking a Program/Project Manager to lead New Product Development, customization projects, and product transfers from HQ to the Malaysia plant. You will guide projects through multiple milestones and work closely with Product Manager, Development Engineer, Buyer, Quality, and NPI teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
5 years working experience as Program/Project Manager or similar role.
Experience in New Product Development, New Product Introduction, or Product transfer projects.
Lead or work with cross-functional or international teams.
Excellent communication (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

Lead New Product Development or Customization projects and Product Transfer from HQ to Malaysia plant.
Form and lead cross-functional project teams; acquire resources from various departments.
Develop and monitor project plans, milestones, and KPIs; manage risks and issues.
Provide timely project status reports to management and key stakeholders.
Ensure process compliance and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
