Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Executive Recruiters seeks a senior engineering leader in Malaysia to plan and manage complex plating processes. You will drive productivity, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while mentoring engineers and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 8–12 years in reel-to-reel and strip-to-strip plating lines for precious metals, a Chemistry or Chemical Engineering degree, and CAD/data-analysis skills. NPI experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Proven ability to lead and troubleshoot major process issues.
• Experience leading a team of engineers to develop new processes per customer needs.
• Strong knowledge of roughening processes and related technologies.
• 8–12 years' experience managing automated reel-to-reel and strip-to-strip plating lines for precious metal processes.
• Skilled in using statistical methods to analyze data.
• Fundamental understanding of FMEA and control plans.
• Experience handling turnkey projects.
• Familiarity with CAD software and basic lead frame design rules.
• Experience with NPI activities and meeting customer requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist during QS and EMS audits by certification bodies and internal audits.
• Execute other duties as assigned by superiors.
• Support NPI plating setup, including reporting and updating documentation such as FMEA and control plans.
• Lead machine modification initiatives to enhance productivity, process efficiency, and quality.

2. Leadand mentor the engineering team, enhancing their skills and knowledge toeffectively support the company’s quality policies, goals, and growth.

3. Initiate,develop, and implement continuous improvement programs such as Quality ControlCircles (QCC), cost reduction initiatives, and enhancements in process yieldand efficiency.

4. Developstaff competencies through comprehensive training, effective communication, andmotivation strategies.

Requirements

4. Strongknowledge of roughening processes and other leading technologies or theirequivalents.

5. 8–12years of experience managing automated reel-to-reel and strip-to-strip platinglines, specifically for precious metal processes and pre-plated lead frames.

6. Proficiencyin using statistical methods to analyze data.

7. Basicknowledge of FMEA and control plans is essential.

8. Experiencein handling turnkey projects is required.

9. Familiaritywith CAD software and an understanding of basic lead frame design rules.

10. Experience with NPI activities andmeeting customer requirements is an added advantage.
