VAT Vakuumventile AG is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Equipment Project Engineering and Fixture Design, driving manufacturing capability expansion and automation initiatives. You will mentor teams, develop launch processes, and partner with cross-functional groups to deliver safe, efficient, scalable production solutions.

The role emphasizes lean methodologies, continuous improvement, and collaboration with the Technology Centre for automation projects and technology transfers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Proven industrial engineering experience, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Experience with process optimization and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Equipment Project Engineering and Fixture Design teams.
• Develop processes for new product launches and mass production readiness.
• Provide technical expertise in equipment selection and automation strategies.
• Improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance reliability.
• Collaborate with process engineering, maintenance, and suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement and yield enhancement on the shop floor.
• Evaluate new tools and technologies for best-practice implementation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety guidelines.
• Manage projects with defined scope, timelines, and resources.
• Prepare updates for senior management on progress and impact.
• Coordinate with global teams on system integration and transfers.
• Stay current with industry trends and lean manufacturing practices.
