Job summary

Kawan Food Berhad seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive the engineering function across the business from Pulau Indah, Klang. You will craft and implement the engineering vision, policies and processes to improve performance while meeting price, quality and delivery targets.

You will lead the engineering teams, oversee project execution from design to handover, and ensure EH&S and quality standards are upheld. Strong stakeholder management and cost-reduction focus are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to engineering departments and coach the team for continuous improvement
• Develop and implement engineering vision, strategy, policies and procedures
• Ensure engineering strategies meet price, quality and delivery targets for business needs
• Oversee build design from contract award to handover and support project execution
• Report engineering activities and KPIs to Senior Management
• Maintain EH&S, engineering and quality standards and procedures
