Job summary

NSS IT Solution Sdn Bhd in Sepang, Selangor seeks an engineering leader who can drive team execution, culture, and roadmap while contributing technically. You will architect a microservice platform, unblock engineers, and set technical bar across Kubernetes-based and monolithic systems.

You will lead a 6-12 engineer team, own hiring, onboarding, and performance, and collaborate with product, DevOps, SRE, and security to align on priorities.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience leading or managing engineering teams.
• Strong experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cosmos DB, Firebase, Supabase).
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience including workloads, networking, RBAC, Docker image authoring, multi-stage builds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers; own hiring, onboarding, performance, and career development.
• Run agile ceremonies and cross-team coordination to align on roadmap priorities.
• Translate technical trade-offs for non-technical leadership and define KPIs.
• Write, review, and merge production-grade code; design microservice contracts and API schemas.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines; instrument services with tracing and metrics.
