A leading superapp company in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, is seeking a Lead Engineer to manage service mesh and k8s infrastructure. You will design, build, and maintain the core backbone of our microservice architecture, working closely with development teams to enhance architecture. Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in managing microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies like istio, linkerd, consule.
• Hands-on experience in managing k8s workloads.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage istio mesh infrastructure and k8s infrastructure.
• Implement and manage service discovery, load-balancing, and observability.
• Respond promptly to service interruptions and assist in capacity planning.

Skills

Managing microservices architecture

Network protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP, gRPC)

DevOps practices

CI/CD tools

Programming languages (Go, Java, Python)

Service mesh technologies (istio, linkerd, consul)

K8s management (AWS EKS, GKE)
