Job summary

AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities team in Damansara City is seeking an Engineering Internship to join and develop professional engineering skills under supervision.

You’ll support senior team members by applying standard engineering techniques, using engineering software, and documenting work while pursuing a degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with CGPA 3.5 or higher.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum CGPA of 3.5.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to address technical challenges effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Innovative mindset with the ability to develop creative and practical engineering or structural solutions.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic proficiency in engineering software; experience with parametric modelling and computational design is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of assigned tasks intended to develop professional knowledge and practical engineering skills.
• Apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and established criteria in carrying out assigned work.
• Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.
• Support senior team members with technical tasks and documentation under supervision.
