Job summary

Jutze Interconnect Sdn Bhd in Penang invites applications for an engineering support role. You will guide technical direction for materials, processes and systems and coordinate documentation with internal teams and suppliers.

A diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing is required along with 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably wire harnesses. You will read technical drawings, use Excel for MIS, and leverage SAP where applicable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing equivalents.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in wire harnesses.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with SAP is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of IPC-620 standard will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical direction and engineering execution of materials, processes and systems. The Engineering admin collaborates with other technical staff to ensure that all aspects of a project are addressed in a timely fashion.
• To ensure proper maintenance and control of customer’s drawing, supplier specifications and all engineering specifications.
• To prepare, analyse, update and compile design drawings, MIS and related documentation.
• Liaise closely with internal departments and external parties on the necessary documentation.
• Provide general clerical support, such as filing, typing, reporting, issue P.O. and follow up order.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Perform general administrative works to Engineering team
