Job summary

Pan-International Wire & Cable (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Perai, Penang invites an enthusiastic Assistant Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This full‑time role supports process engineering, helps prepare cable specifications, and monitors machinery performance.

You will help uphold OSH practices and contribute to quality and production targets. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or equivalent, has 1 year of manufacturing engineering experience, and is proficient with MS Office and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in wire and cable industry.
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) standards and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and AutoCAD.

This full-time role will provide you with the opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in process engineering to support the strategic objectives of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the Engineering department in preparing cable specifications
• Assist in implementing and maintaining Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) practices
• Responsible for monitoring machinery performance and production quality
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior from time to time

What we're looking for

• At least Diploma or equivalent qualification
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the wire and cable industry
• Knowledgeable in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) standards and procedures
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD
• Possess knowledge of cable specifications
