Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot daily production processes and resolve quality deficiencies in coordination with the Production Manager.

The role focuses on aligning all production activities with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements, enforcing company rules, updating work instructions, and delivering training to Executives/Engineers on SOPs and process improvements within a fast-paced global nitrile gloves production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or related position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review the effectiveness of preventive and corrective actions taken by the production team.
• Coordinate with RND and QA on troubleshooting and deviations related to chemicals, raw materials, and processes.
• Review and update work instructions and quality procedures.
• Deliver training to Executives/Engineers on revised SOPs, process improvements, and SOJT modules; mentor newly joined engineers.
• Identify training needs for subordinates in discussion with the Production Manager.
• Conduct periodic meetings with Executives/Engineers and their teams to align on goals and progress.
• Track KPIs of Executives/Engineers and Supervisors; investigate gaps and discuss corrective actions with the Production Manager.
• Implement GMP and 6S practices across production and verify compliance at all levels.
• Monitor, document, and report process deviations or changes, escalating unresolved production issues to the Production/Operation Manager.
• Drive continual improvement initiatives to optimize operation costs, strengthen process control, and enhance visual management.
